Once upon a time, there is this one chubby girl where all of her early successes actually come from help given by her friends, teachers, parents, and friends' parents. She did not realize that. Until she thinks about what have gone wrong and when did it start.
8 years later, she realizes that bit-by-bit she rarely chat and go out with her friends. They always have fun together, without her. She is not a little bit bothered by it. Still meeting them occasionally. However, as time goes by she realized that something has changed.
Oh, is it that time of the year again?
You know, when each class has this one person to be left alone.
Happened since middle school.
She is The Chosen One, or maybe a 'he'.
But, that's rare. Yeah, just because 'boys'~
She is The Chosen One.
She is the one people not supposed to befriend with.
She is the one people not supposed to have a chat with.
She is the one people become annoyed without any reason at all.
She is the one people hate just because she is breathing and exists in this world.
People talked about her, behind her.
If she is lucky, verbal abuse will follow.
If not, quiet, peace and glancing eyes will fall upon her journey at school.
Afraid how they will see her now,
Would she go all out?
or Would she save some for later?
While thinking about all these things,
Time waits for no one,
Eventually, it's time to meet them,
She made her choices.
She always remembers them, truly.
But things happened.
Is she the one who is unchanged and cannot let go of her pasts,
while her friends already move on and upgrade themselves?
OR is she the one who actually changed,
while her friends, just happy being themselves and live their life to the fullest?
And she seems to be the only one that tries to move away from them.
But, why? Self-esteem issues.
Wonder who she really is by herself.
Wonder who actually know who she really is.

Remember. To be a success, you need help from others (can come in any form). It does not come easily. You have to search and ask for it earnestly. Di belakang kejayaan kau, ada ramai orang yang membantu. Without them, you are nothing. Not even dust. Nothing. You know nothing without help, without Allah.
This is what happens when you are alone.
People come and go. Do not take them for granted.
Karma is real. And so how you choose to do with it.

p/s: "stay strong" & "all the best" to self sounds so fake right now because it does not help anymore. Glad I come to the Cultural Night. New intakes have so much potential. To sum up, great singers, rare voices, magnificent magician, amazing beatbox, great traditional dancers and a stage full of young talents waiting to bloom during their degree life. Ahh, how I miss to get so much positive energy in just one day. Thank you. Because of you guys, I found a reason to be happy again.

IF she doesn't have time to go meet them,
Would she be an ungrateful person?
IF she doesn't remember how she supposed to act in front of them,
Would she be an impostor?
IF she conceals how she truly is,
Would she be a liar?
